She is sincere, yet strong..kind, yet firm..sweet hearted, yet tough. An all around amazing representative of the sport.

Rider, trainer, teacher, manager, employer, employee..

I’ve worn many hats in the relatively short time that I’ve been in this industry. Many hats, in many disciplines. Which brings me to here, a place to share all that’s been learned, the countless stories, the high moments and the low. There have been seasons of being mentored, and seasons of doing it all on my own. Seasons of feeling confident and thriving, followed by burnout and confusion. But it all circles back to the unwavering love for the horses, which keeps me rooted exactly where I’m meant to be.

Now 29 years old,

I’ve lived in 5 different states - Virginia, Texas, Kentucky, Florida, New Jersey and now Florida again. Originally from Virginia, I’ve relocated four times solely for the pursuit of my career. The only move that wasn’t for horses was to Miami, during the brief hiatus of trying a more secure 9-5 life. That being said, I still managed to find my way back into the sport in the heart of Miami, and haven’t looked back since..

I tend to go all in,

An extremist some might say. To be completely transparent, I’d never jumped anything, ever, prior to April of 2022. Then three months later, I purchased a 7yo Belgian Warmblood gelding from Germany. I most definitely was over-horsed at the time, and a bit in over my head. But, that’s how we learn, and learn I did! Fast forward, and just over 3 years later I completed my first ever 1.30 class at WEC Ocala. A huge milestone that I at many moments thought would never be possible.

Since working 6 days/week in NJ for 2.5 years, I’ve decided to take a step back from the crazy work hours and do some selective free-lancing or part time work in Ocala. This has given me the opportunity to both polish my riding and network with locals, while also spending time focusing on my personal life. Newly married and now homeowners, I came to the hard realization that the demands of a 6 day work week leave no room for my spouse. And as much as I love to work, I love my husband more! I still find myself working very long days, which I wouldn’t have any other way. But the freedom in controlling my schedule has been a breath of fresh air for my husband and I.

Which brings us to here .. I now proudly own a direct son of the infamous Chacco Blue, a decorated 12yo gelding with FEI miles to 1.45 in Europe. Holy Blue, or Blue as we call him, is my pride and joy. I feel like the luckiest girl alive every day I get to ride him. He is not the easiest horse in the barn, but he has a heart of gold and has given me so much in the short time I’ve owned him.

I’ve also began to dabble in sporthorse breeding - which led to purchasing two 2024 yearlings, proudly bred by US breeders. Like I mentioned above, tend to go all in!
